Peterlee is situated in the most eastern part of the County of Durham (www.durham.gov.uk) in the North East of England.
We are located close to the coast, approximately 8 miles east of Durham City, 10 miles south of Sunderland, and 8 miles north of Hartlepool.
We believe that Peterlee and the area has a lot to offer and we hope that you will come to visit soon!!!

The Spring edition of the town council's newsletter 'About Town' is now available to download, please click on the link below. Deliveries of the publication are being made to each household in the town towards the end of March. If you do not receive a copy, please contact: Debra Coates on (0191) 5864450. Extra copies will be available at public buildings in Peterlee.
