These beautifully appointed suites, the Brandling and Burdon Suites are available for wedding receptions, dinner dances, seminars, fayres, fashion shows etc. Both suites have the advantage of being served by their own entrance, restroom, disabled toilets, cloakroom, bar, baby changing facilities and independent access to a lawned terrace. Both Suites are fully accessible for people with disabilities. High chairs available on request.
The Brandling Suite can comfortably accommodate around 150 people for a formal dinner/reception and 180 people for an evening function with dancing/entertainment.
The Burdon Suite will hold approximately 100 and 120 respectively. These Suites can be combined into one room for larger functions, accommodating up to 350 people.
We have a number of variously sized rooms licenced for civil marriage ceremonies that will provide the ideal setting, from the intimacy of a small ceremony, to a 350 person extravaganza. All of the rooms are stylish and complimented by period style furniture.
Ancillary rooms can be made available for the bride and groom to make last minute adjustments to their outfits and to allow them the opportunity to change prior to the evening reception, if required.
Please note that Shotton Hall is an approved Premise for Civil Marriages only, Religious Marriage Ceremonies are not permitted. The hirer’s attention is particularly brought to this matter, as any breach of this Regulation may lead to the revocation of the Town Council approval as an approved premise for Civil Marriages.

Shotton Hall is set in extensive beautifully landscaped grounds and offers an excellent location for photo opportunities including:

- Mature wooded areas
Marquees can be erected to allow extended capacity to both function rooms and photography is permitted throughout the extensive grounds.
As part of the complete service to you, Shotton Hall provides a full range of catering services to hirers. The in-house caterer has extensive experience of providing the highest quality cuisine to suit every budget. Menus can be supplied for your perusal or alternatively a consultation appointment can be made and a menu designed to your own specification, accommodating any special dietary requirements you may have.
The flexibility of the Caterer allows us to accommodate parties from as little as 2 to 350. Shotton Hall facilities and catering staff are committed to ensuring your event runs smoothly from start to finish and will provide experienced, high quality, fully trained staff who will attend to your every requirement. The Hall has excellent facilities available, which together with an idyllic location, easy access to the main A19 trunk road and industrial areas and a pleasant reception area for your clients, this venue may be the perfect place for your long term office accommodation requirements.
