The Community
Although Peterlee is still relatively a ‘new town’, it boasts a strong sense of community spirit, with many organizations working hand in hand to deliver their services to the public.
Peterlee Town Council is keen to establish ‘working in partnership’ ideals and always welcomes the opportunity to help further develop the links between the public and the services offered within the Town.
As a Town Council we work closely with the District of Easington, Durham County Council, Easington PCT Patients Forum, Job Centre Plus, Acumen Trust, amongst many other businesses and community organizations, all helping the town flourish. Many of the connections we have throughout the town help us enormously through their experience and knowledge of their own area of work and we can not thank the Community enough for all their efforts to bring the town alive.
Peterlee Town Council is strongly connected with many local organisations, too many to list here, and endeavor to help whenever they can to build on their success.
