Calling all residents of Peterlee ..
As Spring has finally sprung, maybe you are thinking of adding a bit of colour to the outside of your home.
If you are, then be sure to enter our Peterlee in Bloom Competition. With a few changes this year, the Town Council are still able to hold this popular Competition. The categories this year are:- Best Hanging Basket, Best Container and Best use of a Recycling Item. Entry is FREE!! Plus prize money to be won!!
If you need a little help, the Town Council’s Parks Team have created a step by step guide of how to plant a hanging basket, which you can see below.
So gardening gloves at the ready, we cannot wait to see all of your wonderful blooms.

Please note there will be no judging in person this year, this will be from the photographs that you send either by email or by post with the entry form. The deadline for entries is Friday 9th July 2021. The Mayor and Parks Manager will judge the entries on Monday 12th July and the winners will be notified on Friday 16th July. Prize money and certificates will be posted week commencing Monday 19th July 2021.
