I was born in Horden, went to Our Lady Star of The Sea Infant and Junior School then St Joseph’s Convent Hartlepool
After leaving school I spent two years as a student nurse then joined the Civil Service.
I moved to Peterlee for the first time in 1970 but went back to Horden in 1976.
In 1987 I returned to Peterlee and have lived here since then.
