Although Peterlee is still relatively a ‘new town’, it boasts a strong sense of community spirit, with many organizations working hand in hand to deliver their services to the public.
Peterlee Town Council is keen to establish ‘working in partnership’ ideals and always welcomes the opportunity to help further develop the links between the public and the services offered within the Town.
As a Town Council we work closely with Durham County Council, Acumen Trust and many other businesses and community organizations, all helping the town flourish. Many of the connections we have throughout the town help us enormously through their experience and knowledge of their own area of work and we can not thank the community enough for all their efforts to bring the town alive.
