Castle Eden Dene
An enjoyable walk can be taken through the town’s National Nature Reserve at Castle Eden Dene. You can access the Dene from the visitor centre at Oakerside Dene Lodge, Stanhope Chase, which is signposted from the A19 and Peterlee Town Centre. Durham Coastal Footpath
